Twenty-year-old Sikhou Sy received what the Chattanooga Police Department described as a non-life threatening injury when he was shot early Sunday morning in the area of 100 W. 25th St.
Sy walked into the emergency room of a local hospital and told police he had been shot by an unknown suspect while walking on West 25th Street.
An investigation is being carried out and added information will be released when available, the police department said in a release.
