The Ringgold High football team was shut out by Washington County 37-0 in the GHSA Class AAA semifinals Friday night.
Washington County took a a 15-0 lead int he second quarter thanks to a pair of long touchdowns, scoring on plays of 59 and 70 yards.
In the second quarter, Washington County's Melvin Hill scored on consecutive touches to put Washington County up 30-0.
After another Washington County Score, the Tigers trailed 37-0 at the half.
The two teams were scoreless in the second half, ending Ringgold's magical season.
