Chattanooga police responded to a report of a woman who was shot at approximately 2:40 a.m. Sunday outside Terry's Lounge.
The victim, 24-year-old Dimesha Kirk, was shot in the upper-right part of her chest while standing outside the building at 4318 Sixth Ave., according to a police department news release.
Detectives were unable to speak with the victim at the hospital and have no suspect information at this time, according to the release. The investigation is ongoing, police said.
