HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Authorities say two men held a boy captive for months and sexually abused him in Huntsville.

The men are both jailed, and the 9-year-old child is in protective custody.

Officials say Carl Herold and Charles Dunnavant are charged with sodomy, aggravated child abuse and sexual abuse of a child under 12.

One of the men is the father of the child, who came to live with them in April. Authorities allege the boy was kept inside ever since and wasn't enrolled in school.

Investigators say they found hundreds of pornographic images in the home, including some that may be the boy. Herold is charged with producing pornography.

Prosecutors are seeking $1 million bonds for both men, who are described as domestic partners.

The men have lawyers but haven't entered pleas.
