The Chattanooga Transportation Department has reported several roads will be closed in the near future as construction projects are carried out.
They are:
- The 600 block of Chestnut Street will be closed on Monday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. a construction project. Detours will be posted.
- A storm water drain installation project across Wisdom Street will lead to a full road closure and will remain in place until the end of work on Tuesday.
- The 7000 block of McCutcheon Road will be closed beginning Dec. 27 at 8:30 a.m. for installation of a storm drain culvert. The project is scheduled for three weeks, weather permitting. Detours will be posted using Lee Highway, Shallowford Road and Jordan Drive.
