DACULA, Ga. — Police in Atlanta's northeastern suburbs have apprehended a suspect in the killing of a Gainesville woman.
Gwinnett County police say they discovered the body of 62-year-old Peggie Robinson inside a home on Evergreen Eve Crossing in Dacula on Saturday afternoon.
Police say the suspect, Wolf Griffin, has been charged with aggravated assault and felony murder. Gwinnett County Jail records do not list an attorney for Griffin.
Police say they're still investigating a motive for the killing, but said that Robinson was acting as a "third-party intermediary" and had just dropped off Griffin's child at the home when she was suddenly attacked.
Dacula is about 35 miles northeast of Atlanta.
