East Ridge police are looking for a man who they say shot someone Saturday afternoon.
The man fired at 26-year-old Jarvis Strickland several times about 5 p.m. behind Tweety's Auto Sales at 5911 Ringgold Road. Police spokesman Erik Hopkins said in a news release that the suspect then fled, steering his black pickup toward Spring Creek Road.
Soon after, Strickland arrived at Park Ridge East Hospital with a gunshot wound in his arm. He told police he thought the gunman followed him, but he did not provide any more information.
