Georgia defensive coordinator Todd Grantham is set to interview today for the same position with the New Orleans Saints.
In a statement this morning, Bulldogs athletic director Greg McGarity said, “In accordance with his contractual obligation, Todd Grantham notified me Wednesday night of the New Orleans Saints’ interest in interviewing him for the defensive coordinator position.”
The New Orleans Times-Picayune reported Tuesday night that Grantham would be interviewed today and that former Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Rob Ryan would be interviewed Friday. ESPN has reported that Ryan is the favorite for the position.
