Sold-out Pink gala supports new surgical suite
What: The annual Pink gala sold out on Feb. 2 with 1,200 guests attending the dinner-dance at the Chattanooga Convention Center.
Benefits: Funds raised from the gala benefit expansion and renovation of a surgical suite in Memorial Hospital in support of breast cancer patients.
Reception honors new Women of Distinction
What: Ten local women named 2013 Women of Distinction were honored with a reception held at One North Shore clubhouse.
Benefits: The 10 will be recognized at the upcoming Women of Distinction luncheon on April 30 at the Chattanooga Convention Center, which benefits the American Lung Association in Tennessee.
Honorees: Ann Ball, Julie Brandao, Kim Chapman, Holly Harwell, Pam Ladd, Mary Stewart Lewis, Kristina Montague, Carol Mutter, Diane Parks and Jean Burke Young.
