Metro Police believe they have arrested the man who allegedly grabbed or groped several female joggers in West Nashville early last year.
Eric D. Wheeler, 21, has been arrested and charged with two counts of assulting by grabbing women for two January 2012 situations police say he implicated himself in.
On Jan. 10, 2012, a 24-year-old woman was jogging on Clearview Drive in the afternoon when a man pulled up behind her in his car, got out, then grabbed her before smirking and running back to his car to drive away. In a case two weeks later, another 24-year-old was driving on Marlborough Avenue when a man asked for directions while in his car. When he shook the woman's hand, the man tightened his grip and grabbed her arm before the victim pulled back and fell to the ground.
