A 47-year-old man could spend 60 years in prison for a 2010 home invasion robbery and pistol-whipping children in East Lake Courts.

Frederick Anderson was found guilty of aggravated assault, aggravated robbery and burglary in the June 22, 2010, home invasion.

Today is his sentencing hearing in Criminal Court Judge Barry Steelman's court.

The family whose home a 47-year-old Atlanta man invaded in 2010 has testified in his sentencing hearing that they still fear for their safety and have trouble sleeping since the attack.

Anderson has previously asked that Steelman recuse himself, claiming the judge is biased against him.

Private attorney Donna Miller is representing Anderson after the public defender's office recused itself.
