Chattanooga’s code enforcement division has announced it will be conducting neighborhood inspections in Lookout Valley, Brainerd and North Chattanooga.
Beverly P. Johnson, administrator of the city’s department of neighborhood services and community development, said the inspections are carried out on a routine basis in an effort to “prevent the accumulation of violations and to maintain healthy and safe conditions for residents.”
Homeowners with specific violations will receive a notice and will be given the chance to bring their properties into compliance within a certain time, a news release said.
