Van Buren County defeated Sale Creek 51-48

Van Buren County defeated Sale Creek 51-48 on Monday in the championship game of the District 6-A girls' high school basketball tournament at Sale Creek.

Both teams remain alive in the playoffs and with Van Buren hosting Boyd-Buchanan and Sale Creek hosting Arts & Sciences on Friday in quarterfinals in the Region 3 tournament.
