McMinn Central girls hold 38-27 halftime lead in District 5-AA championship

ATHENS, Tenn. — The McMinn Central girls basketball team holds a 38-27 halftime lead in the District 5-AA championship game.

The Chargerettes have already connected on 16-of-22 free throws, as the Lady Chiefs have been whistled for 11 fouls.

McMinn Central has been led by Elizabeth Masengil's 11 points. Sequoyah's Hunter Simpson and Emily Ingram each have 10.
