Kenny and Amanda Smith Band in Dalton

This month's edition of the WoodSongs Coffeehouse winter concert series in Dalton, Ga., is set for Saturday, Feb. 23, with the Kenny and Amanda Smith Band, named the International Bluegrass Music Association's Emerging Artist of the Year in 2003.

Other industry nods for the band include Grammy, Dove and IBMA nominations for an all-gospel project in 2007, "Tell Someone," and two IBMA Guitarist of the Year trophies for Kenny Smith. Others in the band are Cory Piatt (mandolin), Owen Piatt (banjo) and Austin Ward (bass).

Doors open at 6 p.m., music begins at 7 at the Dalton Freight Depot, 305 Depot St. Tickets are $15 in advance, $17 at the door.
