Red Bank High School students collect stuffed animals for children in need

The back seat of a Hamilton County Sheriff's Office patrol car will be stuffed with toy animals today instead of bad guys.

Students at Red Bank High School have spent the last few weeks collecting new stuffed animals to donate to law enforcement and other first responders, who will in turn be able to give them to a child in need.

First Responders answer calls or are called to the scene of traumatic incidents where a child may be a victim. The stuffed animals are a way to bring comfort in those situations, officials said in a news release.
