Stolen ATVs, motorcycles recovered in Alabama

The Jackson County, Ala., Sheriff’s Office and Scottsboro Police Department on Thursday recovered eight stolen all-terrain vehicles and five motorcycles.

The officers found the vehicles in Fort Payne, Ala., after Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Kelly Judd got a tip Wednesday night, according to a press release. The investigation remains active as of Thursday night, and the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office will give more information during a press conference at the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office at 9 a.m. Friday.

At least nine of the recovered vehicles were stolen in Jackson County, according to the release. One was stolen from Florence, Ala.
