As promised, self-proclaimed community organizer Patrick Kellogg made filings today in Hamilton County Circuit Court in an attempt to halt the appointment of Erlanger Health System's next chief executive.

At close of business, Kellogg filed a motion asking a judge to compel Erlanger Health System's board of trustees to release previously requested meeting minutes, resumes, contracts and other documents relating to the recent selection of Kevin Spiegel as the hospital's next CEO. He also asked the court to force Erlanger to halt all negotiations with Spiegel before a requested injunction hearing.

Kellogg will return to court Monday to speak with a judge about future filings.
