Dalton house fire

DALTON, GA - Danny and Joy Hooper, who were severely burned in a Dalton house fire last week, have died according to an official at the Joseph M. Still Burn Center in Augusta, GA.

The couple were rescued by a neighbor's call to 911, but when firefighters arrived, smoke was billowing out of the home.

Fire crews had to fight flames throughout the bottom floor of the couple's home, before cutting a hole through the roof to reach them.
