Matthew Dutton rocks his newborn son Mobley Alexander Dutton on Tuesday afternoon in the neonatal intensive care unit. Mobley, an 8 pound 7 ounce boy, was born to Matthew and Maria Dutton at 33 minutes into 2013, making him Chattanooga's first newborn of the year. The 21-inch infant is the Hixson couple's first child, and was treated for a small amount of fluid in his lungs after birth but is expected to leave the NICU soon.

Mobley Alexander Dutton was born at 12:33 a.m. today, making him 2013's first birth in a Chattanooga-area hospital.

The child was born to Maria Dutton and husband Matthew, of Hixson.

Mobley weighed in at 8 pounds, 7 ounces. He is 21 inches long.
