GREENSBORO, N.C. — The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women’s basketball team resumed Southern Conference play today with a comfortable 76-46 win against UNC Greensboro at Fleming Gymnasium.
Guard Kayla Christopher led all scorers with 19 points and center Ashlen Dewart added 14 for UTC, which improved to 10-2 overall and 3-0 in SoCon play. It was the Lady Mocs’ 14th consecutive win over the Spartans (3-8, 0-3).
UTC used a couple of big runs to take a 36-20 lead into halftime and was never threatened in the second half.
Alex Black and Ka’Vonne Towns added nine points each and Tatianna Jackson had eight points and seven rebounds.
