As many as four people face charges of kidnapping after a 24-year-old man was assaulted and robbed at a residence at 3300 E. 36th St. Monday, according to Chattanooga police.
Shane Keller had his hands and feet bound by his attackers, police said. They contacted his sister, Summer Neighbors, asking for money for his release. She contacted police who responded to the residence. Keller sustained non-life threatening injuries, Master Patrol Officer Nathan Hartwig said in a news release.
Eric Clifton Slaughter, 25; Ginger Lee Davis, 48; Barbara Diane Thomas, 53; and Dosher Felts, 22, all face criminal charges.
Slaughter and Felts are charged with charges of criminal conspiracy, especially aggravated kidnapping, extortion, aggravated robbery and aggravated assault.
Davis is charged with especially aggravated kidnapping, extortion and criminal conspiracy.
Thomas has been charged with especially aggravated kidnapping, extortion, criminal conspiracy and aggravated robbery.
