A Pisgah, Ala., man was arrested Tuesday night and charged in connection with the seizure of a methamphetamine laboratory, according to a news release.

Members of the Jackson County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant at a home on County Road 354 in Rosalie, Ala., and found a meth lab and a small amount of meth, the release stated. Deputies also seized a pistol with an altered serial number.

Darrell Ray Miller, 50, of Pisgah, was charged with manufacture of a controlled substance 1st, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of an altered firearm, officials said in the release

He is being held in the Jackson County Jail, and no bond has been set.
