Two people were arrested and two children removed from a home where Jackson County authorities found a meth lab Wednesday.

Officers with the Jackson County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit were tipped to a possible meth lab on Dilbeck Road, according to a sheriff's office news release.

The officers went to the home with a warrant and found a "one pot" methamphetamine lab, lab trash and drug paraphernalia.

Lennie Keith Martin, 53, and Terri Lynn Martin, 40, were charged with unlawful manufacture of controlled substance first degree and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Department of Human Resources personnel from Jackson County and DeKalb counties responded to assist, as did members of the Dutton Fire Dept.

The Martins were booked into the Jackson County Jail and no bond has been set, the release stated.
