Sequoyah Nuclear Plant’s second reactor back online

Tennessee Valley Authority announced today that Sequoyah’s unit 2 reactor is back online after the replacement of four generators.

The three-month job, which required cutting the top off of the reactor containment building and replacing it, was completed seven days early and is expected to tally in under budget, according to officials.
