Lady Mocs rout Georgia Southern

Taylor Hall scored 16 points, Ashlen Dewart added 14 and Kylie Lambert grabbed 10 rebounds Saturday night at McKenzie Arena. The trio helped the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women’s basketball team cruise to a 75-43 win over Georgia Southern.

After the Eagles cut UTC’s lead to 41-33 with 14:41 to play, the Lady Mocs went on a 27-3 run to blow the game wide open. Ten Lady Mocs scored — six had at least 8 points — and UTC hit 46.7 percent of its shots.

MiMi DuBose led Georgia Southern with 13 points.
