Police nab two suspects in East Ridge burglary

East Ridge police nabbed two suspects and one got away when authorities interrupted a burglary in progress off Clemons Road.

When officers arrived at the house at 5321 Clemons Road, three men were seen running away and police took off after them, police spokesman Erik Hopkins said in a news release.

Police arrested 18-year-old Warren Muir, of Chattanooga, as he was running through a yard. Police found Timothy Smith, 21, hiding in a building, but a third man got away, Hopkins said.

Muir and Smith face charges of aggravated burglary and evading arrest and are being held in the Hamilton County Jail, authorities said.
