Cleveland's Lady Raiders are without top 4 scorers tonight as they take on rival Bradley Central

CLEVELAND, Tenn. — The Cleveland girls’ basketball team will be without their top four scorers tonight as the Lady Raiders take on rival Bradley Central.

Senior Sydnie Anderson, junior Qetuwrah Abdullah-Muhammad and freshman Shawnia Anderson received four-game suspensions, while junior Norah Berry was suspended for one game for conduct detrimental to the team. In addition, Berry received a three-day school suspension, while the others earned 10 days.

Berry will be eligible to return when the Lady Raiders take on Central Park in the Scenic City Showcase on Friday. The others will miss that game, along with District 5-AAA battles against McMinn County and Soddy-Daisy.

“We just have to play with the players we have,” Cleveland coach Mindy Kiser said.
