• Trevor Hampton, Grundy County: He scored 18 points as the Yellow Jackets beat Whitwell 55-47 in basketball.

• Justin Havis, Whitwell: His 22 points in a losing cause pushed him past 1,500 for his Tigers career.

• Madison Tucker, Sequatchie County: His 14 points paced the Indians' balanced offense in a 69-21 win over Richard Hardy.

• Kelsie Key, Sequatchie County: In addition to 13 points, she had 12 rebounds and five steals in a 55-47 victory over Richard Hardy.

• Katie Rogers, Richard Hardy: She scored 17 points in defeat.

• Riley Hatcher, Polk County: She scored 17 points with five 3-point baskets in leading the Wildkittens past Loudon, 56-41.

• Paige Carter, Tamika Gholston, Whitwell: Carter's 17 points led the Lady Tigers in a 47-45 win at Grundy County, but Gholston's last-second shot won it, giving her 11 points.

• Mikayla Williams, Grundy County: She scored 19 points with five 3s in the loss to Whitwell.

• C.J. Baker, East Ridge: His 30-second win at 220 pounds was the fastest of seven Pioneers pins in a 54-18 wrestling defeat of Rhea County.
