Dream Keeper Awards Sunday in Cleveland

More than 100 students will be honored at the Dream Keeper awards ceremony on Sunday at 4 p.m. in the Dixon Center at Lee University in Cleveland, Tenn.

The ceremony honors black students in grades seven through 12 who earn at least a 3.0 grade-point average for two reporting periods, recognizing them as Dream Keepers.

The Dream Keeper Award was established by the Bradley County Minister's Fellowship. The ceremony is supported by the Bradley County branch of the NAACP, 100 Black Men of Bradley County and Lee University.

Guest speaker will be Areia Cobb of Atlanta, a children's book author.
