Parents considering magnet schools for their children can find more information at a magnet school fair set for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

The Hamilton County Department of Education will hold the event at Hamilton Place mall's center stage area. Officials will answer questions about the magnet school entrance process and distribute applications.

For most of the county's magnet schools, the deadline to apply for next fall enrollment is Jan. 31. Applications are available online at hcde.org.
