Chattooga boy, 11, injured in four-wheeler crash

An 11-year-old Georgia boy was airlifted to a Chattanooga hospital after a four-wheeler accident Sunday afternoon, according to a Chattooga County radio station.

The victim, Brady Joe Carnes, was riding at a farm on Gore-Subligna Road when the vehicle overturned, Chattooga County Radio AM 1180 reported.

The boy’s stepfather, Dewayne Dawson, said the farm is owned by former Chattooga County Commissioner Mike Dawson.

Carnes broke his right leg and sustained a compound fracture to his left arm, Dewayne Dawson told the radio station.
