Chattanooga Police arrested two men today in connection with a shooting death on Grove Street.
Officers charged 19-year-old Antonio Evans with first-degree murder, aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon and criminal conspiracy. Christopher Penn, 21, was also charged with first-degree murder and criminal conspiracy.
Trey Parker Jr., 23, was walking on the sidewalk in the 1200 block of Grove Street around 8:20 p.m. Monday when he got shot multiple times. He was dead at the scene, officials said.
Parker’s death marks the ninth shooting in Chattanooga so far this year.
