MISSION: Ensure public safety and effectively house offenders while operating a safe and secure facility by housing offenders with behavioral problems that cannot be addressed at other prisons and Mental Health Level II offenders. A prison boot camp and general population unit is attached outside the perimeter fence.
HOUSING: Four units, consisting of a main compound, a special management unit (SMU), and Hays I & II. The main compound consists of five buildings that house 136 offenders each. The SMU has three buildings housing a total of 239 offenders on segregation status. The annex consists of Hays I and houses 400 medium-security offenders and Hays II is comprised of six quaznut huts housing 170 medium-security offenders. The fire station houses 10 and the infirmary houses nine. Also has a faith-based dormitory.
