Crime Stoppers: 2 sought in June 14 shooting in Chattanooga

Crime Stoppers and the Chattanooga Police Department are seeking information on two men they say shot a third one and endangered young children June 14.

In a news release, police said the victim was placing his twin 7-year-old daughters in his car on Larkin Avenue when the two men drove up in a gray vehicle.

The victim told police that Timothy Shropshire pulled a handgun and shot at him, and then he heard Deutrich James ask for the handgun and start firing.

The victim was treated for a gunshot wound at an area hospital and released.

James, 21, is 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds. His last known address is 4512 Rogers Road in Chattanooga.

Shropshire, also 21, is 6 feet tall and weighs 150 pounds. His last known address is 4610 Midland Pike in Chattanooga.
