Von Schamann, Chattanooga Lookouts beat Huntsville Stars 5-1

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Starting pitcher Duke von Schamann allowed one run in six innings as the Chattanooga Lookouts beat the Huntsville Stars 5-1 in Southern League baseball Tuesday night, squaring the series at two games apiece.

Matt Wallach singled to center field to score Jon Garcia in the second inning to put Chattanooga up 1-0, and Brian Cavazos-Galvez made it 2-0 in the third on a double to center that scored Ozzie Martinez. Joc Pederson hit a home run to right-center in the fifth to put the Lookouts up 3-0, and they improved to 7-7 in the league's second half and to 42-42 overall.

The finale of the five-game series is tonight at 7:43 EDT. Ross Stripling (5-1, 2.34) is the scheduled starting pitcher for the Lookouts, with Andy Moye (3-9, 4.59) scheduled for the Stars.
