Huntsville Stars shut out Chattanooga Lookouts

Huntsville starting pitcher Andy Moye was two outs away from a no-hitter when Chattanooga's Rafael Ynoa singled to center, but the Stars still came away with the 2-0 win Wednesday night.

The Stars won the series three games to two, dropping the Lookouts to 7-8 in the Southern League's second half and to 42-43 overall.

Brock Kjeldgaard's home run to left field in the second inning gave Moye all the help he would need, and the Stars made it 2-0 in the sixth on a two-out single by Jason Rogers that scored Nick Shaw.

Game one of a five-game series against Jacksonville at AT&T Field is tonight at 6:15.

Zach Lee (6-5, 2.95) is scheduled to start for the Lookouts, with Robert Morey (3-4, 4.66) scheduled for the Suns.
