Several Hamilton County roads affected by rain

A number of roadways in unincorporated areas of Hamilton County are closed or otherwise affected by weather-related problems, a news release states.

Motorists are advised to use extreme caution and not to drive around any barricades they may encounter, according to Janice Atkinson with the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.

The areas affected are:

16100 May Road: closed due to trees down

1000 Hot Water Road: closed by flooding as well as a sinkhole and trees down

2900 Igou Ferry Road: water issues

10900 Highway 58 at Runyan Drive: water issues

7800 Smith Road at Meadow View: water issues

Dolly Pond Road at Ron: Tree and lines down

14600 Back Valley Road: closed due to water

3907 Lee Pike closed: due to water

Tree leaning at Greenwood Road at Highway 58

8400 Highway 58: Pot hole in road

Traffic light out: Highway 58 at Hunter Road

10500 Dolly Pond Road: closed due to flooding

9100 Harrison Bay: closed due to a boulder in the roadway

112 Jamestown Road: trees blocking lanes of traffic

Walnut Road at Daisy Dallas Road: trees leaning on power lines

Roberts Mill Road was closed due to flooding but now is open, according to the sheriff's office.
