We discussed UGA this week, and while we did not have a direct question about the Bulldogs, here's our guess - 10-2 - and 11-1 is possible if the defense adapts at Clemson - in the regular season. This bunch will score in bunches.

Wow, start off with a grand slam question, why don't you.

There are few things that actually blow our hair back, but the Rodman thing - and his honest assessment that he believes he deserves the Nobel Prize - was as close as it gets.

We'll trot out a quick couple and invite everyone to share their thoughts on the shocking, oxymoronic possibilities in today's sports culture. Here are a few possible headlines that if they ever happened would definitely catch our attention:

You have two quick questions, and we'll try to have two quick answers.

Second part first, we will have a British Open contest. More on that next week.

Secondly back to the first part, the radio show feels like it's going great. Hard to know though, because how you hear yourself and how others hear you is different, and this is magnified. Also, the radio show in a lot of ways is similar to the 5-at-10, in that it's way better when there's back and forth and discussion and dialouge.

It's also harder than it looks, if that makes sense.

The crazy reasons for tennis scoring are based either on the theory that early tennis players used a clock for scoring and the original count was based on 15-30-45-60, with the 45 being changed to account for deuce games and such. The other theory is the scoring system borrows form a French game called jeu de paume, a tennis-like game without rackets in which if the server moved 15 feet closer after winning the first two points and 10 feet closer upon winning the third point. Either way, it's strange.

As for the pay site, we believe we're still up and running. And no that's not too many questions.

As for our top five local sporting events, well, we used to really enjoy the FCS title game before it up and R-U-N-N-O-F-T to Frisco. Alas. We'll give you these five, in no particular order:

• High School football jamboree at Finley - yes, it's a scrimmage, and yes it's normally wicked hot, but it also means football season is here. (And almost any goof high school football rivalry game is a great way to spend a Friday night.)

• Lookouts games - it also helps that AT&T Field is the lil' 5-at-10's favorite restaurant.

• We have enjoyed the UTC football games we have attended as a fan in the past.

• The Head of the Hooch is really a cool event downtown.

• Southern Brewer's festival - and if you think beer drinking is not a sport, then you're not doing it right. Stay thirsty friends.

(That said, there are not an overflow list of sporting events that rushed to our mind, you know? Still it seems like we're forgetting one. Thoughts?)

Jay, enjoy the column a bunch but I was wondering why you are siding with Kobe over Dwight Howard and why are you being so hard on Superman? I have loved Dwight Howard since his high school days in Atlanta so maybe I am a little biased but he's getting a lot of stuff from picking Houston.

We are assuredly not siding with Kobe. Not in this matter, not in almost any matter. We did say for Dwight to expect the Lakers to push Kobe out and hand him the keys to the castle was silly.

In fact, we lauded Dwight's decision to go to Houston.

That said, we likely should have been harsher on Dwight. Who has more gifts than he does? He's 7-1, chiseled and runs like a deer. He can jump to the moon and is physically supreme. Still he has not developed a go-to post move that's not a dunk and he still can't make free throws. And we're sorry, but you can't be an all-time All-Timer without the ability to make a free throw. Yes, we're excluding Shaq from the All-Timers, too.

Seriously, spend the summer shooting free throws until your elbow is numb. Work on a drop-step or a face-up and spin.

Be your future. May, Make your future. Make it.

Thanks for the kind words, We're blessed to have a lot of folks around the TFP ranch that work very hard and take great pride in their work.

As for the SEC media days, well, there are a couple of clear front runners.

Johnny Football will be a monster story. Spurrier likely will say something that is awesome. Les Miles likely will say something that makes us go "Huh?" Mark Richt likely will say something that makes us go, "Zzzzzzzzzz."

Saban will be Saban and discuss the process and the program and the steps to making sure his team does not look past the next step, whether that step is walking to chow time or Texas A&M.

As for a complete, out of left-field choice, let's go with Mark Stoops, the first-year Kentucky coach who we're hoping comes off the top rope and drops an elbow during the Q&As.
