The Jackson County (Ala.) Sheriff’s Office has announced its arrest of Rickey Newell Keel, 53, of Hollywood, Ala., on drug charges.
Keel was charged with unlawful possession of controlled substances (meth) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
A news release from the sheriff’s office said a hold was placed on Keel who it said is facing a potential bond revocation from a previous DUI and obstructing governmental operations charges.
Keel’s arrest came on Tuesday after the sheriff’s office joined the Hollywood Police Department and Alabama State Troopers in carrying out a search warrant on Newman Street in Hollywood. That search led to what was said to be methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia being located and seized.
