Memorial Health Care System has announced its changing of its leadership structure “to better meet the challenges of operating and delivering health care in the communities we serve.”
In a news release, Memorial said the role of president and CEO has transitioned to CEO of the Memorial Health Care System with each of the system’s hospitals — Memorial Hospital and Memorial Hospital Hixson — now having a president.
James M. Hobson is CEO of Memorial Health Care System and, according to a release, “will focus his efforts on innovative strategies to integrate and enhance the care continuum across the region.”
Ricky D. Napper, who most recently was president/CEO of Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, Miss., is now president of Memorial Hospital.
Debra L. Moore has become president of Memorial Hospital Hixson after previously being its senior vice president.
Memorial said in its release it is “committed to our mission of building healthier communities and doing so in a manner consistent with our core values of reverence, integrity, compassion and excellence.”
