Crowe is director of wealth services

CapitalMark Bank & Trust has named executive vice president Stefanie D. Crowe as director of wealth services.

In this role, she will focus efforts on business development, wealth planning and investments.

Crowe was part of the original team that modeled and launched CapitalMark's Wealth & Trust Group in 2008.

Prior to joining the bank, Crowe spent 13 years at Bank of America lastly serving as senior vice president and private client manager.

"Stefanie remains an asset to CapitalMark, and in this role, will continue to build on our team's momentum in creating thoughtful financial solutions to help clients achieve their goals," said R. Ryan Murphy, CapitalMark's Business Unit Group head. Crowe will be joining industry veterans Al Secor and Phil Barnes in the Wealth & Trust Group, which surpassed $100 million in assets in 2012.


Hill joins Benefit Communications

Benefit Communications Inc., one of the largest U.S. specialists in benefit communications and enrollment, has added Kristin Hill as the client services manager.

She will be responsible for implementing strategies to improve project operations and maximize client service.

Hill joins BCI after spending more than 13 years with Unum in Chattanooga. While at Unum, Hill served in leadership roles focused on improving operations, efficiency, and enhancing customer satisfaction. In her most recent role at Unum, she was the client services director for the Midwest region.


Whicker added at Fillauer

Fillauer Orthotics and Prosthetics has hired Dallas Whicker to its patient care team.

He worked for Fillauer's manufacturing division from 1982 to 1990. Prior to his return to Fillauer, Whicker was a staff prosthetist, orthotist, and pedorthotist at Stubbs O&P in Chattanooga for 13 years.

He has an extensive referral network that includes physical and occupational therapists, physicians, and long-term care facilities.

"His compassion and devotion to his patients makes him the perfect fit to our team," said David Fillauer, president of Fillauer Orthotics and Prosthetics.


Hendry gets service award

Charles Hendry, a CPA and adviser with Decosimo, was presented with the 2013 Meritorious Service Award at the Georgia Society of CPAs annual convention.

The award represents GSCPA's highest honor and is presented to an individual based on service to the profession, the society and their community.

Hendry has served GSCPA in a variety of capacities, including president of the society and of the organization's educational foundation.

During his time as president of the society, he worked to promote improved professional standards in the state of Georgia.


Regions picks Jeff Lovinggood, Chris Gee

Regions Bank has chosen Jeff Lovinggood and Chris Gee as financial consultants with Regions Investment Solutions.

Lovinggood's office is located at the bank's East Ridge office at 4334 Ringgold Road. Gee's office is in the Northgate branch at 1965 Northpoint Blvd.

Both are available by appointment at all other Regions Bank locations. Their responsibilities include reviewing financial goals and assessing risk tolerance for clients, and helping them pursue their investment goals by investing in stocks, bonds, mutual funds, variable annuities or life insurance.

Lovinggood has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry serving in various capacities including as financial consultant as well as platform director for AmSouth Investment Services.

Gee has been in the industry over 10 years serving as a financial advisor in both Wall Street and institutional firms.
