The Georgia State Patrol has released the identities of three young involved in a fatal Walker County crash today.
A news release stated that Joshua Allen Jackson, 17, of LaFayette, Ga., was driving a 2007 Ford pickup north on Chamberlain Road when the truck left the road and hit a tree.
Jackson died and two passengers were taken to Erlanger for treatment. Kaitlin Dawn Keith, 17, of Chickamauga, was airlifted and Austin Levi Goodman, 16, of Lafayette was transported by ground vehicle.
The crash was reported at 2:15 p.m. and the investigation continues, the GSP statement said.
