The Cave Spring Arts Festival is 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, June 8, in Floyd County, Ga., about 16 miles south of Rome, via U.S. Route 411.
Now in its 38th year, the festival will offer two- and three-dimensional art "for investment and pleasure," according to organizers with the Cave Spring Historical Society.
The 80-plus vendors will be set up at Rolater Park, 13 Cedartown St., in Cave Spring. Visitors might also consider a picnic lunch, a swim in Rolater Lake and a look at the log cabin built by the Cherokee around 1810 and uncovered in 2010. The village boasts more than 85 structures listed on the National Register of Historic Place, as well as upscale and antiques shops downtown.
Admission is $5, free for children under 12. Proceeds go to upkeep and restoration of Cave Spring buildings.
