Corrections officials shook up the administration at Hays State Prison this week by appointing a new warden and removing one of the deputy wardens.
Walker State Prison Warden Scott Crickmar will take over at the maximum security prison in Trion, Ga., on July 1.
Deputy Warden Shay Hatcher is being promoted and moved to Rutledge State Prison on the same day.

“Hatcher has worked his way up through the ranks,” State Department of Correction Commissioner Brian Owens said in a statement. “His experience will serve him well in his new role.”
At Walker, former Lee State Prison Warden Bruce Lee will take over in Crickmar's place.
