NASHVILLE - Gov. Bill Haslam has announced a $10,000 reward from the state for information that can help in the case of a man killed in Robertson County.

Investigators say Rashaud Singletary was shot in the back of the head in Springfield last year, and that there was a large group of people present when the shooting occurred.

A man was indicted in the case, but the 19th Judicial District Attorney General's Office said further investigation was needed before the case can move forward.

The state reward is for information leading to the apprehension and conviction of the person or persons connected to the murder.

Anyone with information is asked to call Det. Terry Dorris of the Springfield Police Department at 615-384-8422.
