Lookouts win 5-3 with four-run third

JACKSON, Tenn. - The Chattanooga Lookouts defeated the Jackson Generals 5-3 in Southern League baseball Friday night.

Chattanooga starting pitcher Zach Lee continued his solid first half by allowing two runs on five hits over seven innings. Lee struck out five and lowered his earned run average to 2.62.

Jackson jumped on Lee in the second inning when Leury Bonilla opened with a single to right field and Ji-Man Choi followed with a home run to right, but the Lookouts (30-31) answered with four runs in the third, breaking a 2-all tie with consecutive RBI doubles to left by Brian Cavazos-Galvez and J.T. Wise.

Game two of the five-game series is tonight at 7:05 EDT. Chris Reed (2-5, 4.42 ERA) is scheduled to start on the mound for the Lookouts, with Tajuan Walker (3-6, 2.67) listed for the Generals.
