ROCKMART, Ga. - Former Georgia state senator Nathan Dean passed away Saturday.
Dean served in the Georgia House of Representatives for 12 years and was then elected to the Georgia State Senate where he served for 30 years.
He was remembered as a hardworking and effective member of the Senate.
