Preston Management is putting up a new, $18 million assisted living facility next to LifeCare Center of Ooltewah.

Owner: Managed by Century Park Associates.

Location: Snow Hill Road in Ooltewah.

Size: 96,138 square feet.

Contractor: Preston Management Inc.

Scope: The assisted-living facility will have 100 apartments. It is going up right next to the Life Care Center of Ooltewah, a $16 million, 120-bed rehabilitation facility that opened in February. The Bridge at Ooltewah will include a cafe, beauty shop, exercise room, library and a private dining room. The staff also will provide meals, transportation, housekeeping and medication management. Recreation and nursing programs will be available on-site.

Timeline: Construction is scheduled to be finished by spring 2014.

Staff: Between 30 and 40 people will work at the facility when it's fully occupied.

History: Century Park Associates is a family-owned company based in Chattanooga that manages 48 senior-living communities in 21 states. Century Park Associates is owned by Life Care Centers CEO Forrest L. Preston.
