Chattanooga: Final principal assignments made; Zac Brown to lead Howard School

Hamilton County Schools Superintendent Rick Smith says he's completed principal assignments for the 2013-14 school year.

More than a dozen schools will be under new leadership this fall. Today, Smith announced the following moves:

- Zac Brown, current principal at East Ridge High, will become principal at the Howard School.

- Tamara Helton, current assistant principal at East Ridge High, will become principal there.

- Mark Smith, current assistant principal at the Howard School, will become principal at Tyner Middle Academy.

- Samantha Walter, current assistant principal at Daisy Elementary, will become principal there.

Smith previously announced other administrative changes last month.
